The June 2024 visa bulletin has been released by the Department of State and our team at Garvish Immigration Law Group has again summarized the important changes and noteworthy items.

USCIS determination for when to file for adjustment of status for family and employment categories remains the same under the June 2024 visa bulletin. Applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories will continue to use the Dates for Filing chart and applicants in all employment-based preference categories will continue to use the Final Action Dates chart.

In the June 2024 update,  Dates for Filing for employment-based preference categories remain the same from the previous month. Similarly, Final Action Dates for employment-based preference categories remain the same from the previous month with the exception of the EB-3 India and EB- Other Workers India which demonstrates a 7 day progression from August 15, 2012 to August 22, 2012.

Turning to the family-sponsored preference categories, the Dates for Filing progress remains consistent with slight progress in certain categories. F3 Worldwide, China and India display a 3 month advancement from June 1, 2010 to September 1, 2010; and F2B Mexico display a 2 month advancement from September 1, 2004 to November 1, 2004.
