The June 2024 visa bulletin has been released by the Department of State and our team at Garvish Immigration Law Group has again summarized the important changes and noteworthy items.

USCIS determination for when to file for adjustment of status for family and employment categories remains the same under the July 2024 visa bulletin. Applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories will continue to use the Dates for Filing chart and applicants in all employment-based preference categories will continue to use the Final Action Dates chart.

In the July 2024 update, under the Final Action Dates the EB-3 visa category has retrogressed for EB- 3 Worldwide, Mexico and the Philippines by almost a 12 month retrogression. On the other hand, EB-1 India displays progress with an 11 month advancement.

Employment-based preference categories for Dates for Filing for the most part remain consistent. However, a substantial advancement of 10 months is shown for EB-1 India. Other changes displayed on this chart display progress ranging between 1 month and 2 months.

Turning to the family-sponsored preference categories, the Dates for Filing progress remains consistent with slight progress in certain categories ranging from 1 day, 1 month, and 2 months.

However, great news for Mexico and the Philippines is reflected on the chart. Category F2B Mexico has advanced 6 months from November 01, 2004 to May 01, 2005 and for the Philippines another substantial advancement is shown for F4 Philippines where the category advances 10 months from June 01, 2005 to April 01, 2006.

Family-sponsored preference categories for Final Action Dates demonstrate advancements ranging from 1 month to 4 months in F1, F2B, F3, and F4 categories, while F2A categories remain unchanged from the June visa bulletin.
