We did something different this week and it was beautiful.
We (me and Natalia Muñoz) represented Garvish Immigration Law Group, LLC and exhibited for the very first time at a conference—the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR).
We brought our swag, table runner, and banners and set up our table in the Exhibit Hall, ready to connect, build relationships, educate, learn, and most importantly, be present.
We walked in not really knowing what to expect. We simply followed the nudge to try something new.
And wow. It was everything and more.
We ran into recruiters and executives from our client organizations.
People we had worked with only over Zoom or email. We finally got to meet them in person, share hugs, smiles, and meaningful conversations.
We met so many beautiful people who genuinely want to make a difference in the world of healthcare.
We made new friends.
And then something truly unexpected happened.
I had a deep conversation with the exhibitor next to us.
She had recently lost her twin sister and she was struggling.
I listened. I shared. We connected.
On the last day, she told me that the best part of the conference was meeting me.
That stopped me in my tracks.
I wasn’t trying to make an impact. I was just being me.
This experience reminded me that when we say yes to the unknown, when we walk into a space with open hearts and no expectations, we open the door to magic.
We didn’t know how it would go.
We just showed up. And that was enough.
Try something new. Say yes to what feels unfamiliar. Show up with love. You never know who you might touch or what might unfold.
